COMMUNITY CONNECTION UPDATE:
This past month we were able to support the Murray, Hillcrest, and Jordan Drill Teams as well as Cottonwoods Cheer team by having our company dancers perform at their year-end showcases. These performances have all been positive experiences filled with love, support, fun, high energy, and excitement! The dancers just love being in front of an audience, and you could see it on their faces. We are so grateful for the opportunity to shine on stage out in the community.

It’s time for “Rollover Rally!” members-only perk! Progress Reports and class placements for next season will be coming home in April. Discounted membership fee of only $30 will be automatically processed on May 1st, 2023 unless the withdrawal form is completed online no later than April 21st. Please contact us via email if you need to make changes to your class. Enjoy your summer when you already have your schedule set up for next season starting September 5th.
APRIL 10-21 | PARENT PEEK WEEK
We are excited to announce our Parent Participation Peek Week is coming up on April 10-14 & April 17-21 and we would love for you to join us. During this special week, we invite 1 parent to come to class with their student and join in on the fun. This is a great opportunity for you to see firsthand what your child has been learning and connect with other parents in our studio community. Parent Participation Peek week is a fantastic opportunity to see what your students are learning and how well they are progressing.
Please review these important guidelines before attending:
- To help avoid congestion in the parking lot and the lobby, drop your student off for their class, and return promptly 2 minutes before your time noted below. See the schedule HERE
- Each student is allowed to have only 1 adult attend the class.
- Please lower the voice volume in all waiting areas and studios.
- Please refrain from distractions that will disrupt learning.
- We expect all participants to treat the classes like a performance, recording, or photography is strictly prohibited. Teachers will announce when it is acceptable to film the routine at the end and then we’ll take a class picture.

TUTU TESTING FOR OUR 4-5YR OLD PRESCHOOLERS

It’s that time of year we would like to remind our female dance and ballet/jazz classes about our underwear rule… Female dancers don’t wear underwear they wear tights. We don’t wear underwear under our swimsuits and a dancer doesn’t wear underwear underneath her leotard. I need your help NOW before the concert gets here. FOR PARENTS OF PRESCHOOL DANCERS- APRIL THEME
In April our theme is “Never Ending Story.” Each class will be exploring different fairytales. This month we are focusing on: Left & Right, hands and feet, Pointed Toes, Chaine Preps, Dancing w/ a Partner, Creative Movement, Straddle on the head, Excited, Personal Expression. We hope you can find time to review these elements with your dancer at home. It is a great way to get EVERYONE moving!!
As the season progresses additional concert information or updates will be posted on the website, in monthly newsletters and on the school bulletin board. Make it your responsibility to keep abreast of this important information. Our goal is to make the concert an organized, exciting experience for everyone involved. The success of the show is a team effort of students, their parents, the teachers, and the director.

Music and practice videos can be found HERE. Teachers would LOVE to have their students practicing at home using videos and music as much as possible. If your child’s dance is missing the video, please check back later, we are loading them as soon as we have them!

Each year Studio 56 Dance Center publishes an annual program for the concert. “Dancer Notes” and commercial ads are available for purchase. All students and parents have an opportunity to purchase and sell ads, and 40% of all ads sold will be credited back to the student’s account in June. All ad space forms are due May 15th.
