Congratulations! Being on Pre-Teen Company means:

    • You will attend classes 2 days per week.
    • You will compete in 2 group routines at 4 competitions
    • You will have 2-4 additional performance opportunities throughout the year.
    • You will attend Summer Intensive July 15-18.
    • You will learn choreography during Boot Camp August 26-31.
    • You will attend at least four Summer Technique Tuesday classes (June 25, July 9, 23, 30, August 13, 20).
    • You are invited to attend 1 convention in Feb/March.
    • You will attend Winter Dance Challenge January 11 at the studio.
    • You will perform in the Company Showcase and Concert in May.

SUMMER INTENSIVE: July 15-18

    • Monday 11:30-3:30 (ballet, jazz, tumbling, hip hop)
    • Tuesday, 12:30-4:30 (ballet, jazz, team builder, tap)
    • Wednesday, 11:30-3:30 (stretch, jazz, ballet, tap)
    • Thursday, 10:00-12:00 Ropes Course complete waiver HERE

“What if we’re out of town for summer intensive?” We realize there may be conflicts for family vacations. If you haven't already, please email us now to excuse your dancer from intensive. We will send you a make-up option for missing that week.

Summer Class Attire:

      • Freestyle, but ballet appropriate! Leotard, tights, ballet shoes

      • Tights must be in clean/good condition

      • Pink ballet shoes, jazz shoes, tennis shoes (dancers without jazz shoes will go bare feet until their new shoes get here)

      • Hair in a tight bun using bobby pins and a hair net (tutorial HERE)

TEAM FITTING: Mon, July 15

Dancers will be fitted for all first of year attire during summer intensive. One parent is required to attend and size for all dancewear orders.

SUMMER TECHNIQUE CLASSES

BOOT CAMP SCHEDULE: 

Choreography will be taught during boot camp and it is imperative that we have good attendance. Teams will be working with our staff and guest teachers on learning routines for the season.

    • Wed, Aug 28 & Thurs, Aug 29 6:00-8:00 - Lyrical Choreo

FIRST OF YEAR MEETING: Monday, August 26, 6:30pm

A parent of every dancer is required to attend this meeting on Zoom. We will be reviewing company handbooks, calendars, and going over the year’s expectations/requirements for our company families. This is a mandatory company meeting that will ensure we are able to have a successful year together!

FALL SCHEDULE: Begins Tuesday, September, 3

    • Mon, 5:00-8:00
      • Classes: ballet, tap, jazz
      • Need to wear/bring: team leotard, pink tights, hair in bun, tap, ballet & jazz shoes
    • Thurs, 4:45-8:00
      • Classes: tumbling, choreo, ballet
      • Need to wear/bring: black leotard, pink tights, hair in a bun, ballet, jazz, tap & hip hop shoes
    • Extra Practice Attire: team leotard, hair in a secure ponytail or bun, correct shoes for the routine

Tuition and Company Payment Breakdown:

    • By July 1:

      • $30: Membership fee
      • $175: Summer Intensive (July 15-18)
      • First of Year Order
    •  August 1:
      • $144: Summer Technique/Boot Camp (Aug 26-31)
      • $250: Company Dancer Kit for 2024-25 (team gear & class uniform)
    • September 1-May 1:

      • $208: Monthly Tuition (due Sept-May)

    • August 16-Apr 16:
      • $98: Monthly Team Fees (10 payments, due Aug-May)

        • The Team Fee covers two costumes, competition fees for two routines at four competitions, Winter Dance Challenge, Company Critique, end of year showcase & recital, team fees.
        • The Monthly Company Team Fees do not cover tuition, membership fee, summer intensive, Summer Boot Camp, team gear, team warmups, team bag, makeup, earrings, shoes and tights needed for competition.
    • May 16:
      • $98: Monthly Team Fees (10 payments, due Aug-May)
      • Any remaining balance from Contingency Deposit will be credited

Optional Add-On Conventions

    • Adrenaline, Feb 13-15 in Provo: $250 (ages 5-7), $340 (ages 8+) added to yearly team fee total, recommended additional convention for Performing Company

Other:

    • Shoes and Tights for Performances: not included in program fees – Due either October 1st or November 1st after choreography and costuming is set. This could include jazz shoes, character shoes, hip hop shoes ($60-$95), etc.
    • Team Pics & Headshots $50-75 in Oct/Nov
    • Action Shots (optional) $50-$80 in May
